What Is Noise

I’m going to try some of this personal outsourcing

I kinda hate Tim Ferris, author of the 4 Hour Workweek. I more hate some of the people that are overly lazy and opportunistic who think they can basically do nothing and make a ton of money. Tim is actually a pretty smart guy, and I only disagree with some of his stuff.

While I am not going to go full-scale and attempt his “distribute everything” methods, I’m going to give some of it a shot. It’s inexpensive, and it will help me clarify many of my thoughts I feel. Often I feel that the slowest thing for me is clarifying what I want to have done. I want to improve on this. I’ve already found the benefits of having a few physical things done in this way (I drop off my laundry to have it done).

I’m going to check into virtual personal assistants and some other methods. Things in my life are nuts and I need some specific method to my madness. Big business have procedures for doing things. I currently have no official procedures. I’ll be posting my attempts and results soon

    Hi David,

I agree with what you are saying. Unfortunately many who read the book think that they can now outsource their entire business and be a success. I think they just misunderstood Tim’s book.

On the other end of the spectrum, since the launch of that book I have seen people who cannot afford to outsource hire a virtual assistant for the wrong reasons (meaning they have outsourced tasks that they really should be doing themselves) and held on to tasks that they should have given to their VA.

However, you seem to have the right idea about outsourcing and that could take you a long way. As an entrepreneur it is not wise to do it all yourself, it really could hamper your success and business growth.

Start by outsourcing the things that go on behind the scenes, you know, the important things that keep your business running but take so much of your time that it leaves you with no time to put your plans to grow into action.

Having a virtual assistant in your business allows you to now focus on clients, business growth and frees up your time to develop new plans and enjoy life to the fullest.

To learn more about Virtual Assistants, stop by my site and request a copy of Work Successfully With A Virtual Assistant.

You can also submit a RFP on the Caribbean Association Of Virtual Assistants to find a qualified and affordable VA in the Caribbean.
