Led Zeppelin is slated to play a show on November 26th, 2007 in London at the O2 Arena.
Jason Bonham, the song of the late and great John Bonham, will play drums. The rest of the band will be original members. Apparently they have had something like 80,000 ticket requests per hour since this news went public. Other sources have stated that over 20 MILLION requests for tickets have been made.
Tickets will be available via a lottery/drawing and are 125 pounds. The concert is to aid the Ahmet Ertegun education fund.
Wow. I mean, wow. I simply cannot imagine a bigger and more exciting concert. No band has 3/4 of their members alive that could put on such an interesting show that is so anticipated. Led Zeppelin have not played a show since June 27th, 1980.
I did of course, put my name on the list. Having recently gotten my passport, I will sell a kidney if needed to get to the show and/or sleep on the streets in London (yes in November) to see the show if my name comes up for a ticket.
I can only imagine that unless severe precautions are taken, that this concert will set a record for ‘highest scalped ticket’ ever. Ever ever.

Do not register your name for a ticket however, as that will lower my chances of getting one by 1/n+1, where n was my place in line.
